Nowadays, and especially since the last 5 years, the sustainability is everywhere in the spotlights. In logistics and more particularly in freight forwarding, the sustainability is also present. The 2 most useful ways for green transportation are the train and the barge. The most advantages of train and barges are that they can load more cargo and replace a lot of trucks on the road. There are also alternatives by train to China with a shorter transit time than with the vessel. By barge, there are also possibilities to countries like Switzerland and Austria where there is no access to the sea.
